It seems it’s trendy now to be concerned about the Federal debt. Unfortunately if you actually examine what Washington has to say you’ll find it’s 100% devoid of any reality. Exhibit “A” in this delusion: President Obama’s speech on fiscal discipline and reducing the national debt of April 13 2011, where he made the following stunning whopper:
Coming on the heals of debunking the Myth of the Surplus, deficit-deniers are back at it again with the sequel “Myth of the Stimulus”, touting a CBO report (May 26, 2010) claiming millions of jobs created—but does the report have any relevance to reality? We’ll quickly see it does not.
Christians (and it’s good advice for everyone else) are called to be skeptical—several places in the Bible it states check things out for yourself and don’t believe something just because it came from an “authoritative” source; many of those sources turn out to be false. Do your homework, or as Jesus said “Take heed that no one deceive you”.
