About
Frames of Reference presents a collection of resources on the Bible, politics, atheism, and science, differing from other blogs in a few ways:
- While we do cover some current events, it's not a news site, but rather how events relate to your life, Bible prophecy, and the future.
- Don't expect large volume of posts. 4--6 per month is a normal frequency. We're more interested in how news and science relates to you than simply reporting what you already hear from dozens of other sources.
Our monthly teaching from Calvary Chapel Tri-County is available in MP3 format. You can subscribe to our podcast, and Calvary Chapel Tri-County broadcasts services live on KHRB 92.3 FM.
Please subscribe to our newsletter, which provides new articles to you via email, as well as periodic special notices. It's low-volume, so don't worry you'll get flooded by email --- usually just 1-3 messages per week. If you prefer, we provide normal RSS feeds as well.
Popular Articles
If you're a new visitor, here's some of our popular articles:
- Which Bible translation is best?
- Can you lose your salvation?
- Freedom of religion
- The poison of liberal theology
- Avoiding logical error - there is no God
If you sample those, you'll have a good idea what kind of issues we discuss.
Who Writes Frames of Reference?
With a background in Mathematics and Physics, Darrin Yeager is an author and Bible teacher studying and teaching the Bible from a scientific point of view. He has been teaching publicly for over 10 years, with many of those messages available on this site in MP3 format. In addition to Bible studies, his work examines evolution and other scientific, religious, and political issues and their relation to modern Christianity.
He has published books on Daniel and The Troubled Church (A study in 1 Corinthians). If you're beginning a group study and would like to use a book as a foundation, please contact us for discounts on volume purchases.

FAQ
- Where's the print button?
- The site is designed for printing. No need for a special print button, if you're using any modern browser (Firefox 4+, Opera, Chrome, Safari, Konqueror, IE8+) pages should print fine. You'll also notice if you have Javascript enabled all links and references used will print at the end in an "Endnotes" section.
- I have a Bible question, will you answer it?
- Absolutely! We publish a Q&A section for reader-submitted questions. Use the contact form to submit questions.
- Can I share printed copies of the articles?
- Sure --- while the content is copyrighted you may share it with friends and family provided you don't sell it, don't claim it as your own, don't modify it, and attribute it correctly. Naturally, if we find it available on the Internet, that's not only a violation of copyright (and not very Christian), it's illegal as well.
- Are you available for speaking engagements or guest blogging?
- Absolutely! See the above headings for freelance writing or guest speaking.
