About Us
Frames of Reference has been on the web since 1998. It started with answering questions from the skeptic, but quickly expanded with articles on science, evolution and Christian living. We received lots of email, and thought it might be advantageous to allow others to add comments, so in early 2008 we changed format to a blog-style with reader comments. Whether this works or not depends entirely on you (just be sure to read the comment policy first as this is a family-friendly area).
Biography
Not much to tell really. We've had the advantage to be personally tutored by the greatest Bible scholar of the last 100 years. While he's retired now, he's passed the baton to us.
Educationally, we've studied science with a focus on Math and Physics, while our degree is in Mathematics.
What we Believe
We believe the Bible is the inspired and inerrant Word of God, by which all things are given to us pertaining to life and Godliness (2 Timothy 3:16)
We believe in one God, our Father, the creator of all that exists both visible and invisible. We believe that God has revealed Himself to us in three persons, the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit (1 Timothy 3:16)
We believe the gospel to be that Jesus Christ, the second person of the Godhead, became flesh, was born of a virgin, and lived as a man among men. We believe Jesus suffered and died for our sins, and was physically and literally resurrected from the dead, ascended back into Heaven, and is now seated at the right hand of the Father (1 Corinthians 15:3-4)
We believe that all men are helplessly lost, separated from God, and are sinners by nature. We believe that the only way to reconciliation with God is personal faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, and that all who repent and believe on the Lord Jesus shall be saved. Salvation is therefore the free gift of eternal life, bought and paid for by the death and blood of Jesus on the cross (John 5:24, Ephesians 2:8)
