Paul contrasts Man’s wisdom with God’s, demonstrating we must be led by the spirit to understand the mind of God; people without the spirit of God have no method to understand the things of God. But if man’s wisdom is inferior to God’s, why do Christians form divisions in the church surrounding a particular human teacher?
